Think pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
“Breast cancer occurs in men. Men at any age may develop breast cancer, but it is usually detected (found) in men between 60 and 70 years of age. Male breast cancer makes up less than 1% of all cases of breast cancer.” This October, the Family Life Department of the Fort Lauderdale SDA Church is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we encourage you to do the same. Do so by simply wearing pink during the upcoming week and next Sabbath, October 18th. Also, if your annual mammogram is past due, don’t delay, do it today.
